Some of our learners come from a completely different trade to start up in remapping. Our trainers have OVER 12 years of experience and are fully trained and practicing Remapping technicians.
This means the knowledge passed onto you is not only up-to date but it’s also relevant to the cars in today’s market. The course is ran at your pace. Everything needed for the course is supplied including lunch.
Whether you are a mechanic looking to move into a niche market or a complete beginner looking to start as an ECU remapping auto technician our trainers are qualified to tailor the course to your needs. This course right from the basics upto the more Advanced ECU Remapping such as EDC17 Tricore, DSG mapping and cloning ECUs. I did a lot of research into various Auto Locksmith courses prior to booking with the OBD Company, The prices of the 'bigger' companies (and smaller) where massive by comparison and spread over more days which would add to the cost by having to take more time off work and hotel costs.The course itself covered everything I expected it to and a great deal more, Lewis the trainer delivered the content exceptionally well and in an easy to absorb way, taking his time to answer all questions and not move on until he knew we 'got it'.Lewis clearly knows his stuff and has gave me great confidence and knowledge which I will be using to expand my existing domestic locksmith business.The course is outstanding value and Im sure I will be attending futre courses with OBD company...It will be my first port of call.Thanks again Lewis - greatly appreciated

After spending decades in the health sector, I seriously contemplated a career change and I wanted a career that I can become really interested in and build in my spare time until I can leave my present career.. but just being interested in cars isn't enough! I wanted to understand how the ecu works, 'the brain of the car' and its tuning and remapping potential. So I attended a 2 days training course with the obd company to learn about remapping and tuning. Lewis who taught the course was very well versed in all matters relating to what he taught, the clarity of the course and what I learnt was valuable and afterwards felt I was ready to embark on my new venture, the after support is great as well, I've already received helpful advice late on a Saturday night!. Im hoping to take the key programming course next as a next move into that industry and obviously will be choosing the obd company to teach me that too. Thank you. 🙂

Attended the Mileage Correction and Auto Locksmith course. My experience with The OBD Company was outstanding! Having come to the course with some prior research, I thought I’d already know much of what is being said and would only be brushing up missing pieces in my understanding. Just be careful what you ask for in a file, make sure you have everything asked for in full as this growing company will only do what you ask them, if you forget you have to be charged again! Which is fair enough so just a heads up!

The OBD company is a great company who provides extensive training. The after care service is also brilliant as you can contact them using a number of different methods should you need any help! e.g. WhatsApp, or an online support ticket. Support is always offered throughout.

Was a bit dubious about changing my career at the ripe old age of 38, especially when it involved using computers, however, I highly recommend this course and especially the people at OBD, it’s a great course and after a shaky start on my own I’m now up and running and loving it, I actually enjoy waking up to go to work and for that I can’t thank lewis and his team enough... very knowledgeable guy, very helpful and patient, thanks to all at The OBD Company

Excellent courses, and very detailed presentation. I now have no problem in remapping cars including bench mapping and tricore ecus. Brilliant quality maps as well.
