In our 6 day Automotive Workshop we cover all aspects in the field, our course is designed for a complete beginner. We will teach how to remap, change mileage, clear crash data, program, cut keys and pick locks on all manufacturers. The course consists of a mix between classroom, practical and audio/video home study content. It includes the below courses:
- Our 5 star ECU remapping course that lasts 2 days and costs £500
- Our industry recognized 5 star Auto Locksmith course that lasts 4 days and costs £900
- Our mileage correction course (This course is studied online in your own time but all the other courses are studied face to face in our training room/workshop in Chesterfield at the following postcode – S41 0QQ) this costs £250

Did the 3 day beginner auto locksmith course and loved it. Lewis has a vast amount of knowledge and was easy to talk too especially when I had no idea (no fault of his). My only advice is to don't think you will know everything when you've finished the course. It's set up to make see what equipment you need and how not to burn 10k on kit you don't need. This job is a lesson every day. He will show you the path you need to follow, it's up to you to learn as you go.Highly recommendRye Lindsay

I did a lot of research into various Auto Locksmith courses prior to booking with the OBD Company, The prices of the 'bigger' companies (and smaller) where massive by comparison and spread over more days which would add to the cost by having to take more time off work and hotel costs.The course itself covered everything I expected it to and a great deal more, Lewis the trainer delivered the content exceptionally well and in an easy to absorb way, taking his time to answer all questions and not move on until he knew we 'got it'.Lewis clearly knows his stuff and has gave me great confidence and knowledge which I will be using to expand my existing domestic locksmith business.The course is outstanding value and Im sure I will be attending futre courses with OBD company...It will be my first port of call.Thanks again Lewis - greatly appreciated

Attended the Mileage Correction and Auto Locksmith course. My experience with The OBD Company was outstanding! Having come to the course with some prior research, I thought I’d already know much of what is being said and would only be brushing up missing pieces in my understanding. Without doubt a truly 5 Star experience!.. Lewis delivers his knowledge in a calm and collective manner that even a Mouse would understand exactly what he is delivering!.. I have been in the Motor trade for some 40 Years and Lewis has proved that you really dont know everything!.. If you are a beginner or a Guru then these Training courses are a must and financially very beneficial to your ongoing business or thinking of starting out in this lucrative Industry!..I spent 2 Days on a remapping course and am very pleased. Great company to get started with ECU remapping, with a very good crew of after sales helpers!In my honest opinion it’s the best way to get into remapping and the training is very friendly!Just be careful what you ask for in a file, make sure you have everything asked for in full as this growing company will only do what you ask them, if you forget you have to be charged again! Which is fair enough so just a heads up!Great company!You definitely feel part of something big!

Was a bit dubious about changing my career at the ripe old age of 38, especially when it involved using computers, however, I highly recommend this course and especially the people at OBD, it’s a great course and after a shaky start on my own I’m now up and running and loving it, I actually enjoy waking up to go to work and for that I can’t thank lewis and his team enough... very knowledgeable guy, very helpful and patient, thanks to all at The OBD Company

I attended the 2 days course and it's very helpful and informative.The 1st day it's very helpful for those who don't know or have any idea how to use remapping tools, etc...The 2nd day was amazing I've learnt a lot about tricore, well if you want to know more about the course I advise you to go on it you won't regret.

Excellent courses, and very detailed presentation. I now have no problem in remapping cars including bench mapping and tricore ecus. Brilliant quality maps as well. With excellent power and no over fuel smoke. Highly recommend the obd company to anyone who wants to get in to remapping or ecu repairs.
